Idaho Trip

Earlier this month we went to Idaho to visit the Denny side of the family. We had a great time. It was nice to get away and relax for the week. We went camping, fishing, swimming, and to the zoo. We also took some family pictures ourselves, they turned out pretty good! There are a lot of pictures so I may post them over a few days.

Thanks Mom and Dad, we had a great time.

Jayden loved the rabery's (raspberries) and grandma and grandpa's house, he took frequent trips out to the bushes. (Jayden and Grandma Louisa).

We went swimming at some hot springs, everyone enjoyed the cool and warm pools.

We went camping and fishing. We all enjoyed fishing the first day but unfortunately Jayden wasn't feeling very well so mom and I ended up leaving early to take him to an urgent care clinic. He had a soar throat and fever, possibly moving into an ear infection, so we took him home. Dad, Eddie joe, and Bridget stayed another day and fished hard.

I am running out of time, so I will post more later. Eddie joe is rearranging things and trying to get Jayden to take a nap, so I should help. For some reason Jayden got up at 4:30 this morning (very unusual), he wanted to get in bed with us. He tossed and turned, pulled my hair and kicked me until about 5:45 when I ordered him back to his own bed. He then threw an all out fit because he wanted crackers?!? Maybe he woke up because he was hungry? Anyway we are all tired today, so I'm hoping that we can all catch a nap (wish me luck on that).

What a big helper!

So I (Eddie joe) was folding a load of laundry today and Jayden, of course, kept getting in the way. So I figured I would put him to work, and get him out of my hair. I put a bunch of clothes on the floor, set him up with his little foot stool, and away he went. It took him about four or five minutes to get it all in the washing machine, but I greatful for the help. Usually he just empties the lint trap. After he finish he just stood there and watched the machine fill up. He got his fishing pole out so he could poke the cloths as they went around. I continued to fold cloths and came back a few minutes later and he had added about four bath towels and a couple hand towels from in the bathroom. He was so proud of his work, but I had t remove them and wait for the next load.

I don't think he wanted to wait for the next load, so he took care of those towels next time I stepped out of the room. There are three full sized bath towels crammed in there.

The weekend!

Ok, so Jayden is experiencing a new freedom since he has started sleeping in his big boy bed. He realized that he can get up and run around, so we put the gate at his door and eventually he settles down and goes to sleep. He was pretty wound up on Sunday after church. so first he climbed behind the toddler rail, between it and the wall. Eddie joe saved him from that and then a little while later it was quite, so I went to go and check on him. This is what I found when I went in, see the diaper lying next to him. We laughed pretty hard about it.

The Big Boy Bed

Jayden spent his first night in his "big boy bed." He was excited about it. He didn't even fight with us as much as he normally does in his crib. Of course this was short lived and the next night we fought with him for quite a while before he gave up and went to sleep.

This is how we found him after he put himself to sleep the first night.

This is kinda funny because he kinda makes a bid deal about having his pillow before he goes to sleep.

Our fishing trip to Tingley Beach

Last weekend we had the chance to have Mamma and Pappa Hunnicutt in town for the weekend. We decided that we would take Jayden to Tingley Beach and do a little fishing. We didn't catch anything but we had fun anyways. Jayden is getting pretty good at reeling his fishing pole all by himself.

Backpack Attack!

The fishing pole set that Grandpa gave him had a backpack, and Jayden was not a fan of it.

4th of July

For the 4th of July we went to Silver City and Las Cruces to visit Eddie joe's Family.

Grandpa Tony was painting the bathroom when we got there, so Jayden helped.

We went fishing outside of Silver City!
